Our One for One programme, ‘SquareMeal’ is purely about positive influence – for you as our customer, for our team and all the communities in which we operate.

This programme is aimed at underprivileged school children in the local community, offering them a freshly made hot school lunch. We trust that a hot meal is an incentive for parents to send their children to school rather than out to work, eventually improving their long-term health and work prospects.

Our collaboration with Akshaya Patra

To begin with, we have collaborated with The Akshaya Patra Foundation in India, to support children attending Government schools. The goal is to promote ongoing education and improve their well-being by providing one nutritious meal daily. The Akshaya Patra Foundation, a non-profit global organization, is dedicated to eradicating classroom hunger through the implementation of the Mid-Day Meal Programme

Initiating SquareMeal in India

India is where our founder was born and brought up and from where the majority of the products we sell come, so it only makes sense for us to start in our founding community. Although, we soon aspire to begin making a positive impact in the UK!
