Our Story
Every good business starts with a respect for the detail. Ours began in Rajasthan, India.
Our roots run back to a family that worked the stone of Rajasthan for the better part of fifty years. From that heritage we inherited something you can’t manufacture: a deep respect for what the earth produces, and an eye for quality that was set long before we ever sold a single slab.
When our founder, Aarti Jain, brought that heritage to the UK, she saw a gap. Beautiful natural stone was out there, but buying it well - knowing it was ethically sourced, properly matched and backed by people who genuinely understood it - was harder than it should have been. And so The Stonemart was born, to bring that quality to British gardens, driveways and patios.
As we grew, so did our purpose. The Stonemart was built to supply stone. Stonewise is built to do more: to be the single, trusted partner our customers turn to for the whole outdoor project - and to grow in a way that gives something back. The name has changed; the promise behind it hasn't - the same uncompromising materials, the same trusted expertise, and the same commitment to doing right by our customers, our team and the communities our stone comes from.
